About the Artist

I’m an ephemeral artist based in Brisbane Australia, who crafts works from natural elements such as leaves, sticks, flowers, bark and seeds. My creations draw inspiration from observations of the environment and the materials I gather. Without the use of glue or tape, each piece is meticulously balanced. My art, like everything in nature, is transient- here for a time before it is gone. Once completed, I recycle all materials back into the environment or save them for future projects. This impermanence is part what draws me to the process. For me, there is significance in releasing the work once it is done, finding meaning in the act of letting go. The photographs are captured to preserve the artworks and to be shared as prints.
