This piece focuses on the idea of three women connected in a way that feels familiar but not overly defined. A trio has its own kind of dynamic, whether it’s shaped by family or friendship, there’s often a sense of shared understanding alongside individual differences. It’s not always perfectly balanced, but that’s part of what makes it interesting and real.
The inspiration came from a conversation at one of my market stall events, where I met two women and we realised we were all one of three sisters. It was a simple moment, but it stuck with me. This work reflects that, three figures linked by something subtle, hinting at a connection that’s personal, but also widely relatable.
